I love the log Cabin quilt. It was my very first quilt I made.Lessons from Joann Fab many yrs ago. Still loving it.

This is going to be a great quilt. Be sure to post photos of it when it is finished. As for the challenge - I think curves would be so hard. Guess I'll try them!! Thanks for the challenge.

This is a BEAUTIFUL block. I never would have thought to do Log Cabin in a patriotic theme.

Sadly, I cannot participate in your challenge. There are a gazillion blocks I have never tried -- but, my problem is that I am bumping up again Christmas projects that need to be finished. I selected projects that are do-able, but I seem to be getting slower and slower and slower. . . Your challenge is a great idea, though, and I look forward to seeing your finished quilt.

Your LC block is great! Patriotic theme too! Glad to see someone else who does a "limited" scrappy, as I usually do! :) Your blocks will make a wonderful quilt when finished, do hope you show pics!
