Squaring after each block helped me so much in doing my log cabin. Your block is beautiful.

nicely done. I am working on a project that I thought was too hard to tackle. But I too bit the bullet and did it. Now I am doing better then when I started the project. Practice, Practice, Practice.

Your block is great!
Your ability to overcome paralysis and bad thinking is to be highly commended.
Since the log cabin is a relatively simple block, it would be sort of unfair to say that "you think it is hard, but it isn't" ... unfair may be the wrong word.
Inaccurate might be a better choice for me to use.
Most of the reason for many of us NOT attempting a new pattern has little to do with the instructions or the difficulty of the pattern.
It really does rest in what we tell ourselves about what we can and cannot do.
You have moved beyond it, and again! I commend you for your upward momentum and thinking <wave>
