This is absolutely the best gift ever.... i know how much it costs to get things quilted... and as wonderful as their work is... i figured i love quilting so much, i could pay for a machine for myself with that kind of money... so i have a grace frame with janome 10" (small but fun)... and i LOVE doing my own.. it's challenging, but wow what a savings... so NO this is not dorky, it's a wonderful quilt that will be your first grandbaby's!!! good thinking.. and i LOVE the colors and catepillar!!!

I think it's a nice gift, even though she pieced the quilt herself, she couldn't afford to have it quilted, so you got it quilted for her. She will be so surprised that you got it quilted for her!

Not only is the quilt adorable, but how sweet of you to have it quilted. Now every time she looks at it or uses it, she will have to smile and think of you. What a wonderful gift.

I think that is one of the sweetest things you could do--and she will be THRILLED. I bet she'll cry. You are so thoughtful.
