    Not a dorky gift at all. You know she will love it. So cute.
    "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" was my granddaughter's favorite book. They have the books for sale at Kohls for $5 if you want to get the book to go with the quilt for the future grandbaby.

    I think it is a perfect gift!!! I made one exactly like it for my DGD's 5th birthday. And I also have a Brown Bear quilt to make for DGS. LOL!!
