Thank your husband for getting these up for you and thank you for sharing these special memories during this hard time. Remember what I said...one day/step at a time...I know your mother is happy that you have found quilting to keep you busy!

I love how your mom mixed classics that the dresden in the lone star and the star in the log cabin..that is great!

I am so sorry for your loss, how wonderful tho, that you have such fond memories to hold you over until you meet again! Your mother was a beautiful woman, and did beautiful work!

So sorry for your loss. Losing a parent is difficult I know. You will always miss her, but when it hurts too much you can wrap up in one of those beautiful quilts and think about all the love that went into each stitch. It's almost like a hug from above.
