I agree with Sue1964 - your design and colors are so pretty, it would look even nicer to have the sides continued out until they come to a point, too. At that point, you can decide on a single narrower border, or none at all - just bind it. Gosh, girl, that is one gorgeous quilt! Thanks for sharing it with us. :)

I'm really glad that you are going to add more blocks to the sides. What I've been doing lately is if I want it more for a bedspread rather than a "sleep-under" quilt, I add my borders on the sides and bottom. You already have your pillow tuck on the top, so you don't really need to add more to that.
I love your quilt. I keep thinking of doing a log cabin, but have never attempted it. And this is your first??? Wow, very impressive! Congratulations!

Great job and I love love love your color choices. Go with the shorter on the top and bottom, would not be a problem.

You did a wonderful job. You can put a border on two sides, or three even. I've done that several times when length got away from me. Its your quilt, make it your way
