I am so proud of you!!!! You did a great job. That is so pretty. A blue border will make the blue in the fabric pop. I can't wait to see how you finish it.

It looks wonderful!! You don't have to make your borders the same width on the top/bottom and the sides. If you want to, you can add borders to the sides and not to the top/bottom. I absolutely guarantee that the quilt police will not knock on your door!! It is a lovely quilt and I can't wait to see what you decide on and what it looks like when it is completed!

If you have enough fabric left over, I'd suggest what others have suggested, continue with the pattern on the sides to make it a bit wider before putting on the borders. It's a beautiful quilt.

I have been thinking....maybe you could add the side blocks, a small blue border and then a wider border of the floral.
