Too bad that teacher couldn't see past the usual and appreciate your choices. I think the colors are wonderful. I am glad you finally put that behind you and got back to quilting. :D

What a sad experience!! I know that my quilts aren't in colors that lots of my quilty friends would use, but I don't think anyone has ever actually said anything to me!! I think your quilt is absolutely beautiful! The colors are great, and I am so happy you finished it!!

Her rules are not necessarily your rules. You are big enough to know that by now. Seems to me your intuition was right on this one. It's lovely!

Rules are made to be broken. Altered, and rearranged!!Thoughtless words can leave deep wounds, and I hope you realize that your opinion on colors is what really counts. I hope the teacher learned a lesson from her careless remark. I am sorry she hurt you, but look at you now!! Wow. A great quilt. (so there, teacher) May you continue making wonderful quilts to please yourself and your loved ones.
Blessings. :)

I am so sorry that you were wounded by that teacher. That was really uncalled for. I am so sorry that your missed those years of quilting. Your quilt is beautiful! I love the colors.
