I'm so sorry! How awful a thing to happen. Especially since it was due to negligence on your neighbor's part. Definitely take pictures of everything and hunt down receipts if you still have them. Also keep receipts for anything you have to pay to clean up the damage --- cleaning supplies, cost of rewashing your fabric, etc. Let us know how everything works out.

I am really sorry to hear this; i am sending you a big big hug :)
Is there anything we can do?
What is happening now; will she or insurance cover your losses like the sewing machine?
What will happend if your flat get mold after a while due to all that water; i really hope you dont get any after effects but i guess that can happend too.

anyway sending u lots of love xx

I am sooooo sorry this happened to you. I truly hope you get reimbursed for everything!! And feel so bad about all the clean up you now have to do, all through no fault of your own. Am wishing we all lived closer, I'd be more than glad to give you a hand.

That is so sad. I sure hope her insurance is paying for your damages. After all, it was her fault no yours. Let us know how it turns out. Meanwhile you are in my thoughts and prayers.

OMG....That's horrible!
I know you are just beside yourself!
Big hugs to you!
Keep up with the insurance adjuster, sometimes they can be as sneaking as...do I dare say it? Lawyers. Sorry Esqmommy....you aren't included in the previous statement. :)
Keep pictures, get your estimates and hold EVERY peice of paper you can get your hands on for what has been damaged
