    Don't you just love that block? It is the one I used for the first quilt I made in recent years (and first one I did completely by hand and all by myself).
    I do love it- very fast and easy to cut, and fast and easy to piece. I would never have thought to put it together with no sashing but I saw it done that way in a magazine, and really liked it.
