That is very very nice. Thanks for sharing. And yes, I have been to Jonesborough, TN. My DH and I enjoyed that area and were glad we stopped there.

very stunning. love it. I come to Jonesboro several times a year, and enjoy Tennessee Quilts . What other shop is good there to go to?? I used to love Somewhere Sewing but now they are gone.

That is a very pretty wallhanging, one I'd be proud to hang in my home and there are many I don't feel that way about.

Thanks! Isn't Jonesborough just addictive?! Tennessee Quilts is the largest shop and is, as you know, across the street from the Visitor Center. The other shop there in Joneborough is called the Sewing Bee and is located in a small strip of shops on the 4-lane (highway 11-E) right beside the BP gas station and just before the new Justice Center. it is a smaller shop but has a really nice selection of really bright and cheery fabrics. It was actually the shop where I took classes last year to learn to hand appliqué . So, as far as I'm concerned, it really shouldn't be an "either/or" when you visit -be sure to visit BOTH shops!!!
