my weight loss blocks

Keep up the good work. I probably should join in as I could stand to shed about 25 pounds. Would have to buy new clothes though. Hummmmmm now thats a thought. shopping and a new wardrobe. Congratulations on your weight loss and keep it up.

I love the blocks with the spools of thread. In real life, they look so real. I have that fabric and have used one little piece (fussy cut) for my Memory Quilt and have just saved the rest. I have the feeling that someday it just might go to Fabric Heaven and we'll never see it again and I want to just be able to look at it once in a while. Congrats on the weight loss. I pray for courage and determination that you've portrayed. You are doing an excellent job -- with the weight loss and with the blocks. Congratulations! I have 35 to lose (high blood pressure). I begin every morning, and before nighttime, I've gone backwards. I've lost 20 to 25 pounds so many times, but this time, it just "ain't happenin'." Any tips? I'm retired and am still in my "work mode" hunger at certain times of the day, even after almost 13 years. I also don't sleep very much so hunger comes in the middle of the night, too.

I admire your weight loss dedication and the quilt will be a good reminder of all your hard work. And it should keep you from putting it back on (which I have done numerous times). Since last year, though, I have lost 50 pounds with another 30 to go. Done the hard way, on my own, and without a quilt for inspiration. Perhaps I'll join the next one for extra incentive to keep losing instead of just maintaining. Congratulations!!! Feels good, huh?
