That is so sweet. She is stunningly adorable! I would save her t-shirts. the one she has on is adorable and would make a great little quilt when she grows out of it. Love those rosy cheeks and beautiful smile.

She is adorable. She may well be a future quilter in the making. I am sure her Mom will be delighted that she helped you out.

Those pictures would make a cute label for the quilt.

That's so funny...she often says "ta daa" and that's the expression on her face. But this time she said, "I did it!"

Have you used pictures for labels...I've only used the transfer method and don't think it would stand up to repeated washings. I know there's fabric that you can print on and that may work better. What's your experience?

Katier825 & GingerK...you two have got me thinking...I have a large basket of 2-1/2" squares (just right for her little fingers) and I'm too uptight most of the time to just let go and really be scrappy...so I could let the grandbaby pick out the squares and just start chain piecing...all the while working on naming the colors...she can say the names and often will name them correctly but then gets stuck where everything is "yellow", "blue", or whatever other color she's having fun saying.
