Beautiful quilt. I know that it is comforting to know you got it finished in time for him to enjoy it. My prayers are with you at this time of loss.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I love the quilt and it looks like your husband did too. I'm so glad you got it finished in time.

My sympathies on your loss. Your DH looks mighty proud of the lovely quilt you made just for him.

I must have missed something. Was there a mistake that led to something?

So sorry for your loss. And yes, I'm also glad you finished it so he could look at it. What a neat thing that you have such a happy face picture for you to remember him by, though. Congratulations!

Thank you for sharing your pain with us. It is a part of the "healing" process, which is so understated. Just know that when times get tough, you're surrounded by love here.

Oh! I didn't expect this news. I am so sorry to hear that he has moved on. I will lift your family up in my prayers. He certainly looks like a very proud husband in that picture. What a treasure you have now. It was made to comfort him, but before you hang it up on the wall - use it to get comfort from him now. (at least for a while). I'm so glad you were able to finish it for both of you. The real gift here was the "very proud husband" picture. (Thank him for that).
Gods blessings as you begin this new journey. Always know you can come here to weep, complain, get love and support or just be with friends. Please accept hugs, hugs and hugs from all of us here on the board.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I remember reading your story when you finished the quilt and being glad he got his own! He looks very happy with it and I hope this pictures gives you comfort as you grieve and adjust to this new chapter in your life.
