I vote for 1 as well, like the busy scrappy look of it, balances well.

I pick option #2...I like how the outside border matches the inside border. And it doesn't make it look as busy. It's softer on the eyes.

I'd vote for #3 because the interest shifts from one to the other and back again.

I like the first option the best; it looks more even in its distribution and makes the eye travel over the whole quilt.

# 2 as the scrappy center part looks to be the main focus on the top of the bed and the borders just the drop down the sides. They could be embelished by the type of quilting done in the space.

#1 I would like better if the outer border squares were smaller than the center (bed top) design - which would make you focus more on the center design.

#3 don't like the free floating patches - looks like an after thought to me

Now I am torn I like both of them :lol: But since you need it bigger #4 .

Just to throw a monkey wrench in here , what size are the blocks currently? Can you make the blocks bigger to get to the size you need ?
