That is a great combo. Enough contrast for a block and a whole quilt. Good job picking those fabrics.

see what it looks like when the whole thing is done, I have often adjusted a quilts main color by adding a border that balances the whole thing.

I have used the same fabric of dark background and always get compliments on the quilt. It is with other shades of pruple and very pretty........as is yours!
