While I'm not usually a big yellow person, those yellow sashings are very sunny & warm looking. That one just popped out at me.

I like the lighter yellow idea for your sashing. Just my opinion! Nice job on your blocks!!

I would do your last one. Exept I would use the darker yellow that you used in the picture. I think it helps the color in the blocks to stand out.

I would choose the yellow over the white - I also prefer sunshine to snow! The yellow seems to make the other colors pop more to me. Do you have any more of the yellow used in the centers - that would really tie it together.

Hi Dee! Beautiful DP blocks!!!!! I may be the odd ball here, but I like the yellow shashing...but without the 9-patches...IMHO it looks sort of "busy" with the cornerstones...Hugs! Sandy

That's a tough one. I like the white sashing, but it kinda makes the 9-patches look like they're just sort of floating. Of course that may be just the look you want. Does anyone ever use ecru and white together in quilting? I know that used to be a popular combination in heirloom sewing. I am just wondering how it would look to use ecru for sashing for a little bit of contrast without taking away from the beauty of the blocks? Just a thought ... all of your choices are good.

OK. I changed my mind. I'm a woman. I'm allowed! I think the lighter yellow like the centers would be good.

I like the white. The yellow is colorful but I vote for number 1.
