I would use a color...the yellow looks okay...it's a little brighter than I would like...the color that sticks out for me is the green in the block in the top picture here..the block to the bottom right! Kind of the soft green. Seems to me that might look nice and not over-power your beautiful blocks.

I think the pale yellow would compliment the blocks really nicely...and provides a unifying affect. Beautiful work on your blocks!

All are pretty, but I like the first one with the white sashes and 9 patch the best. Just my opinion.

I like the yellow sashing, I don't care for the 9 patches used in the pictures though. My thought, no corner stones, or corner stone squares of the same fabrics used for the plates or a 9 patch made with white and one fabric from one of the plates it is next to.

I would pick either white or a toned down yellow and no nine patch. Your work is very nice so far, and I'm looking forward to seeing the finished quilt.

I would use the white in between colors or use the collors in the pattern, The yellow takes away from it, makes too much yellow, can't see the colors...but thats me ..
