I love the shoes you’ve done so far and can’t wait to see this as it progresses. Beautiful!!! You have just opened my mind to painting a quilt. I don’t have an ounce of painting talent and can’t draw a straight line but what fun it must be. Thanks for sharing.

I know years ago, I paint a # of items... the paint laundryied well but was stuff and difficult to sew/quilt. It once the paint dried it was like card board, hard and stiff....

U have tested? they are washable????

I used the old acrylic fabric paints and they were stiff as a board!! I promise you these are very soft, and wonderful to quilt. Look at the beautiful custom quilting around the painted irises, done by Peggy Barkle here in Atlanta

I love the idea of the shoes! I can't wait to see more! And the iris quilt is woderful, the quilting on it is perfect for it. Good Job all around!
