Default place mats for meals on wheels

our guild is making place mats for meals on wheels. Sea Green mat took as much time as a small quilt. used 10 min block with three inch blocks. and quilted. Pink mat used a fabric, cut into 6 1/2 in squares and reassembled. As my DH says, why take perfectly good fabric, cut and resew? nice effect.. by the end of the morning, he made sense. The Teapot fabric is so fun, hated to cut it.. so "quilted" with 2 inch squares.. blue thread to not detract from fun pattern.

    all 17 x 13 inch finished.
