I do too! I'm wondering how the rain was made. Is it stitch with knots? by hand or machine? Thanks for the show. Loved it!

hobbykat1955 03-06-2011 04:50 PM

wonderful...but what was with Sunbonnet Sue in those scenes...Am I missing something?

MCarleneM 03-06-2011 05:06 PM

I loved browsing these pics....thanks for taking them and sharing! So much beauty! Will I ever be so talented???? I should live so long!

Laura22 03-06-2011 05:26 PM

Do those who like Sunbonnet Sue think of her as a little girl? If so, I can totally see why that would be disturbing. For me it's more like South Park when they say "who killed Kenny", not a big deal and it is cleverly done :)

I loved some of the others, such beauty and skill :)

thequilteddove 03-06-2011 05:53 PM

those are some gorgeous quilts!

redvette54 03-06-2011 06:20 PM

Thanks so much for sharing your pictures with us. It did seem the death of SS was tacky for a quilt show. I'm not a big fan of her, so it made me smile, but it shouldn't have been on display.

RedGarnet222 03-06-2011 06:43 PM

What a great quilt show. Thanks so much for inviting us to see too. I loved it.

Qbee 03-06-2011 06:46 PM

I look at those and I am so jealous...If I could make quilts like anyone of those, I would be soooooo happy.
I can not pick one I like the best.

Oh my,such talented quilters. beautiful quilts.

Yooper32 03-07-2011 04:36 AM

What a wonderful display of quilts and ideas and color combinations and settings and borders. It was an absolute feast. I had many favorites, but the strange thing is the very first one caught my eye big time and it still is my favorite after all of those intricate quilts I looked at. I cannot figure out how it was made. It almost looks like it was hand painted. ???

Calzo 03-07-2011 04:43 AM

Wow, gorgeous quilts. So much inspiration, I wish I coule see them in person.

Oh for heaven's sake! I puzzled over what that was in the rain!! I saw a landscape done this way with little clear beads stitched along the "rain".
