Stunning quilts.

CGail 03-07-2011 01:55 PM

Wow - what a show. The quilts are beautiful except the Sun Bonnet Sue's. I just cannot stand the ugliness. I love Sun Bonnet Sue's, but not in death. - Cynthia

A quilt club makes a quilt for the opportunity of selling tickets, to raise money, either for the club or a sponsored charity.

Thanks for sharing, now cannot wait to get the DVD of the show. Have a dear friend who now lives out in Henderson and she sends me the DVD of the show every year. They moved to be closer to grandkids after retirement.

Your pictures are fantastic! I went to the show also, but was so busy drooling that I didn't take many pictures. To those who were disturbed by the Sun Bonnet Sue, I spent quite awhile walking around and saw many quilts numerous times. I never SAW this quilt! It must have really been tucked back in somewhere...out of the major hanging area. Hopefully no little ones saw it either. It was a great show.

xsquilter 03-07-2011 07:28 PM
