I hate to be a wet blanket, but that site looks like a direct copy of the (copyrighted) book. It's illegal to do that, even though she isn't making any money from it. Copyright laws are important to all of us who do creative work!

I wonder if anyone has contacted the original pattern holder Cathe? You are absolutely right, copyright laws are very important. I'd not even want to utilize that site now. Thanks for pointing it out.

Usually sites have protection to make it so that you can't copy if your not supposed to don't they? I would like to know how to tell the difference.

All it takes is someone with a scanner/printer to put it out there. Just like lots of other stuff, just because it can be done, doesn't mean it should be.

Cathe, your quilt is gorgeous! You do such beautiful work.

I agree. However, I'm not sure how you would be able to tell about the copyright when someone does that. How do we go about checking to see if it is copyrighted?

Cathe you've done a fantastic job on your dahlia! The colors you choose look as though they are all layered on top of each other just like the flower pedals of the dahlia do! Wonderful!!!! I have always liked that pattern and will have to give it a try one of these days. Thanks for sharing!
