blocks are very pretty...you are so close.....you know the little engine....yes you can yes you can,,,,I have faith YES you can......It is going to be beautiful.

Yes, I have especially with very large quilts I loose the joy as the quilt grows. I also get tired of the fabric.

I am working on a quilt for my daughter that I just absolutely love....however, I am consistently finding other projects to put ahead of it...I don't know how mine will turn out, but I am confident I will eventually finish it. Cause I have my daughter who will insist!!! Mine is 52 blocks, 26 (1/2) are hand-quilted roses, the other 26 are machine quilted butterflies. The roses are holding me up! I've decided after every project, to quilt 2 more roses! One rose takes me about 4 hours -- so, I'm slow, right? Anyway, I wanted to tell you to be sure to finish yours! Everything I see about it looks perfect -- the colors are great.

I know why you are bored with it. You're almost done and the creative process is complete. No surprises coming. After you do the sashing and border, then you will be challenged again with how to quilt it. Hang in there and you'll be happy you did. If you really hate it when you are done, donate it to the Susan G. Komen Foundation for Breast Cancer. They do an annual quilt auction and people pay big money for a great cause.

It is beautiful. I am envious. I know myself too well, which is why I stick to simple patterns that I can finish quickly. Otherwise I wouldn't get it done, and then I would feel very wasteful.

If you get it done you will be so happy that you finished it!! It is going to be a really nice quilt. I like your idea for the sashing...it will add interest.
Yes, I have had a hard time finishing a couple of quilts. Once I get a simple pattern underway, I really can't wait to finish it. Boredom sets in!! :-)

It's gorgeous so far. Take a break if need be, but don't quit. You can always send it out for quilting if you've had enough by then.
