lol -- when i hit the funk, i would usually clean up or organize.

now that i'm SUPER organized, I can't wait to get back there and sew! to bad the laundry will be ready at the laundromat in about 10 minutes. I'm going to go fold ALL the laundry - sew for about an hour, pick up the bf from work, go to the gym, and sew all night! =)

katyquilter 01-10-2011 09:58 AM

WOW - you certainly have a wide variety of projects to do. I wouldn't know which one to start either!!

amorerm 01-10-2011 10:04 AM

Think Xmas 2011 and you're set. Great stuff and fabric. Have fun sewing.

amorerm 01-10-2011 10:04 AM

lol -- sadly, i have scarves for everyone that i'm going to embroider for christmas 2011!! I don't know why i didn't take a picture of them too!

doh! another project to add to the list!! lololol

Ritacarl 01-10-2011 10:25 AM

My God, that's terrible. You really need to rent a storage locker and insure that!!! Also, quit spending money on things and then put them in the "I'll do it later" pile.

theresa.redington 01-10-2011 10:28 AM

Looks like someone is going to be busy this year! Happy quilting and have fun! :o)

pamesue 01-10-2011 10:34 AM

ok, I think/know I have a huge addiction...I have an entire spare bedroom for my stash......

I do use it...but it grows no matter how much I use...LOL

Quilter672 01-10-2011 11:28 AM

Oh my, thanks for finding the web site rhat sells the Cupcake Party pattern! NOT! I had written the pattern name down and was hoping I could NOT find it anywhere! Just what I need, another project! But they are so cute and I HOPE to get them made for nieces and nephews for Christmas 2011. I also wrote down another pattern...here's hoping I cannot find THAT one too!

IndyQuilter 01-10-2011 11:34 AM

I'm impressed you still know what the fabric you bought is for. My rule is it is not a WIP or UFO until I actually start cutting into the fabric. If it's been awhile then it usually works it's way into my stash. Good luck with all those projects.

RkayD 01-10-2011 11:57 AM

You may be embarassed but you sure are organized! =) My projects are all jumbled together.

hereca622 01-10-2011 12:18 PM

You and I have something in common, We are turtle lovers. I saw some cute turtle fabrics and several turtle patterns planned.

First, You are more normal than you know (among us quilters) and second, you have a very understanding boyfriend. It takes a special man to live with a Quilter (aka: fabriholic). 8-)

Nursesews 01-10-2011 12:41 PM

WOW girl, you have it together, come on over to my house and help me get organized :D

Harmony 01-10-2011 01:04 PM

I agree with a lot of others here--just pick a small one and dig in! I'm trying to not buy new fabric too, and I have plenty of WIPs and UFOs to work on. Sounds like we have ourselves a challenge!

I'd be happy to!!

crankygran 01-10-2011 01:47 PM

You won't have to worry about the price of cotton for awhile.

honeygram15 01-10-2011 02:05 PM

I would love each of those projects. Hope you have fun completing them.

quiltmom04 01-10-2011 02:12 PM

You're amazinly organized. When you want to sew something, it looks like you can just put your hands on it! Way to go! (Nice collection, too!)

retiac 01-10-2011 02:12 PM

Hey could you tell me where you found the sweetsixteen purse pattern my youngest DGD turns sixteen this year and would love to make her one. Thanks

Ditter43 01-10-2011 02:12 PM

It's free on the Internet. Just search sweet sixteen tote. If you can't find it let me know and I'll look for it. :)

retiac 01-10-2011 02:31 PM

Thanks I'll look for it

feffertim 01-10-2011 03:23 PM

wow, I thought I was bad but you definitely have me beat. Good luck, love all your fabrics. If I had so many beautiful projects, I would never leave the house.LOL

lol -- i was a homebody to begin with, but i have known i have such great stuff back there for a while...

the bf and i had a 'heart-to-heart' a few weeks ago - he's a much more social person than me. i agreed to go out more than once a month (like out grocery shopping or running errands, we haven't even gotten to social outings yet!) and he agreed to let me 'alone' more often.

:) :) :) he's a great catch!

Bluebonnet Sue 01-10-2011 03:36 PM

And a partridge in a pear tree... Boy can I relate to this situation. I need to get busy completing my UFOs and other WIPs so I can get on with all the others I want to do too.

amandasgramma 01-10-2011 03:36 PM

Welcome to my world!!!!! ROL --- if no one has mentioned it, it's good that you're taking pictures...BUT store the memory stick somewhere OTHER than your home!!! If you have a fire, you'll lose that!! Check with the bank and see if you can get free safe deposit box.....if not free, they're usually less than $50.00 a yr. Small price to pay for having the info should you have a fire!

sew_it_up 01-10-2011 03:49 PM

Good Grief when do you sleep? Eating can be taken care of by take-out or delivery, but sleep??

leakus 01-10-2011 03:56 PM

In the meantime - here's a pretty pic of my super clean studio![/quote]

i sleep! a lot!!! lol -- some where between fibro and thyroid issues sleeping is my favorite thing, then quilting, then teaching.

the bf cooks mostly - i'm very lucky that way. and saturday is our chore day when we usually shop/clean/run errands -- which means ever sunday is my quilting day!! (bf is at paintball)

=)

the more the merrier! i'd love to have a quilting party! too bad the apartment is too small for more than two people!!

StitchinJoy 01-10-2011 04:09 PM

Oh you have quite a collection. Don't feel bad though.

I have 14 UFOs and WIPs. I don't count the fabric that's been bought and put away with a project in mind, maybe even with a photo or a pattern or one of my EQ mockup; if the fabric isn't cut, I can do something else with that.

ksea 01-10-2011 04:21 PM

Jessica, I love your enthusiam (sp?) i think that there are a lot of envious people out there, I think that it is great that you have so many projects planned, I checked your blog and OMGosh you do beautiful work. I certainly am envious of your imagination and talent.
Do you remember where you got the red and black fabric with the pandas and the penquins on it? Each one of my grandkids are an animal (determined by the stuffed animal I bought them when they were born) and my two youngest (who are sisters) are a penquin and a panda and they share a room and it would be fabulous if I could make a wall hanging for them with that fabric.
I look forward to seeing your projects as you finish them, you are a true inspiration.

awf60 01-10-2011 04:28 PM

I would say you have plenty of projects to keep you busy!
