Here is what I am kicking around in my head. The embroidery angels would go in the corners. My husband likes it but the jury is still out. I even thought maybe squares like what you have under her feet in the red and cream plaid fabric. I'm still thinking...... What do you think?? Of course this isn't the correct sizes yet and the photo does not completely go the the border...... oh well. You kind of get the idea.

Your country Angel quilt is looking so good with that red! After my 2nd bout in the hospital this summer, I think I am finally getting my strength back. i am working diligently on Maybeonedays romantic top. I had a nasty virus infection 2 weeks after my abdominal surgery...8 more days in the hospital took its toll on me..and the month of July. I am so sorry to be late with this but I do not want to rush it...its such a soft, pretty quilt! Please forgive me, but I want it to be done right for you Kathleen.
