Went to the mail box today, and had another wonderful surprise from my SQA :-D A beautiful card, a mini panel kit, that is a really darling pin cushion, which I can't wait to make, and a beautiful block, #4 :-D :-D Thank you so much , it has made my day!! :-D

Sorry, I posted the wrong block :oops: Went to bed, and it dawned on me what I had done and had to get back up. I was in such a hurry wanted to make sure I got it posted before heading out of town tomorrow for a few days. :lol: :lol: anyway, here is the right one, which I love!1 It is called Pansey, and it has a tiny yellow flower in the middle of it, it is so pretty! She sends me one every month, and this is the one for April. What a wonderful memory quilt I will be able to make with all of my blocks :-D

Ninnie's SQA -- Your block is BEAUTIFUL!!! (Well, it's Ninnie's block now!) Could you PM me the pattern/website? Pansies are my favorite flower, and I just pictured an entire quilt of that block in different variations (much like pansies themselves).

Love the pansy fabric. I will look for it today as DH and I are going on a date! ;) Part of that date is I get to go to the LQS - ok so it's only JoAnn's but I still get to go. Have to buy binding for the little African dresses I am making.

Glad everyone is having a great spring thus far.

I just returned from a quilting retreat and went to the Post Office yesterday and found a key in my box. And what did it open you might ask. Why another box. And what did it contain you might ask. Why a package from my SQA, of course. My special SQA should know that you have perfect timing. I purchased a Lil' Twister Tool on my retreat and am most anxious to give it a try and your fabric give will be a great beginning. Who isn't happy to have extra machine needles on hand? Certainly not me! They do get dull, don't ya' know when they are forced to travel at the speed of light! And the brush will come in handy since I am learning to clean and refurbish my vintage Singers.

What I would like to know is how all these Angels are so smart and send just exactly what is desired or needed and just in time.

Enough suspense! Now I will attempt to add the photos.

Aurora: What beautiful fabrics and very useful gifts too. I love that little brush.

I love the little brush as well. It will be handy for cleaning the bobbin area on my 301A. The fabrics are beautiful and will add excitement to my twister project. I looked for pieces to go with the butterflies today, there were so many options that I plan to use the butterflies as a dominate fabric surrounded by various brights. Sure hope to get started next Friday at UFO.

i have decided there is one problem with all the gifts other than they all arent coming to me--we see things and then set out to find them for ourselves--specially the materials we havent seen in lqs

Thanks! I certainly think so as well. She also sent me a wonderful container of pins that wondered off during the photo shoot. The heads are the same colors as the fabrics.

I wanted to share this with my Angel and thought the rest of you might enjoy it as well. I want to thank her not only for the material gifts, but for the extra bonus's that came along with it. Me and my little ones finally got those seeds planted lol what an experience that was having them help me. Thank you for that memory.
The first pic is what it looked like when we started. Then we planted all the seeds. My kids enjoyed it so much we went to the store and got some more lol. I was exhausted when all was said and done. It looks great.

Nothing like kids and dirt!! They always have fun outside in the mud. Looks like mommy got really into the spirit of the occasion. Your children are adorable. You ended up with a beautiful flower garden. :thumbup:

I think the only thing that could top that is being her angel and getting to see the wonderful pictures of this little family bonding and know that her gift inspired that.

Its the gift that keeps on giving ! First all the fun planting and playing with the whole family and then all summer taking care of them and watching the flowers come up !

I just love kids...they are so intense with all they do! Just think someday in the future one of them will tell a friend, "I remember gardening with my mom. She always made everything so fun."

We had lots of fun. My son loves helping me. He always says " I like helping you" and then smiles really big. It's too cute. I really need to get Makayla's stuff done so I can show pics of that lol I started working on that first and I put it down- that was my first mistake ha. Hmm maybe I can teach them to sew- Is almost 2yrs and 4 yrs to young? lol
