Pretty quilt!! Why don't you make a block and put in each corner? Looks like that would work, be pretty and save you money.

Your quilt is going to be beautiful. You can look at the mistake as a design opportunity. You could carry a few of the coloured blocks out into the border. If you really want the borders you've chosen, then you're really going to have to buy more fabric. Oh boo hoo, another trip to the fabric store!

Ooooh! That sounds like fun! I hadn't thought of the L-shaped corner. I'm going to have to play with that idea. That could be beautiful.

LOL! Good point. A trip to the fabric store would not ruin my day.

Yes dark cornerstones. like Jill suggested. It is so pretty. I put on two borders measuring them on the quilt, not measuring tapes involved. Then after they are sewn and pressed, I measure for the last two using the fabric for the border itself. No numbers, no math.

I am pretty good at math , but when I need it most for some quilting project.... thats when I am bound to have an error! Maybe when we use the creative side of our brains , it numbs the other side that does the math.

Your quilt is beautiful and I sure can empathize because the math trips me up a lot more than I care to confess. Boy have I ever learned " measure twice, cut once" and now I usually measure at least 3 times and I can still get tripped up. Grrrrrr. Don't get discouraged though, it is so worth fixing - it is beautiful.
