I always say "Pretty is as pretty does" so if this quilt makes him happy and you enjoyed making it. Well then it is very pretty indeed.

    I like it!!!

well beauty is always in the eye of the beholder and appreciation is always good.
Check out some of the modern quilts that push the limits on beauty.
I think you did a nice job and the arachnologist would "get it".

He will love it and think it's absolutely beautiful! I don't much care for spiders, but some folks do, and he's apparently one of them. That's why we have all flavors of ice cream! Good job.

It's not something I would like to sleep under but I bet it will be right up your nephew's alley!! You did a great job making it. It really is neat, even thought I don't like spiders!!

That is so clever! I'm amazed at you people who can create your own patterns and make them work with fabric!

I'm not showing that to my DH. He'll want me to make one. He's big into Halloween and he'd want this. I think it's really cute.

They don't have to be pretty, but What you did is amazing and he's going to love it!!! I would rather have a quilt like this than a traditional quilt.

Innovative would be one description. Not all quilts are meant to be "pretty".
I think it's fabulous and such fun. Bet your nephew loves it.
