    Is your state having a quilt documentation project? Try a Google search and keep all the info written down along with a picture of the quilt maker for future generations. It is in loving hands.

    Wow, what a treasure. During the Civil War, she would have been only a teenager. Imagine the horrible sights and experiences she must have had!! Understandable that women long ago wanted to create some beauty in their everyday lives. You are fortunate to have it and know about it's history.
