If you have a story that goes with one of your quilts then please tell it. I know I would love to read it. You might think it is boring but maybe the rest of us won't. Just so you know I'm the nosy one. I always want to read a good quilt story. Please.

    so, here is the story.
My niece and my family lives in Europe.
When my Mom got married in 1947, her cousin from New Jersey send her a set of bedding. It was beautiful fabric. In last 25 years if has been hanging in my parents attic. Every time I visited I would go there to look for old things. Few years ago, I found the sheet and brought it with me to USA. When my niece was getting married and I decided to make her quilt, and since she was my Mom's favorite granddaughter (the youngest) I decided to use that fabric in the quilt. Since the fabric was a bit frail in places, picked the best and used as small squares.
My niece and my Mom and the rest of the family had tears in their eyes when I told them about the fabric, taking it to the States, etc.

I wish I could write better, but this is the story behind the 4patch quilt.
    Thank you for reading.
