    I go to Fortuna all the time and I never find anything as beautiful as this one you found. I am from Fort Bragg, CA. I was at a quilt retreat in Fortuna a couple of years ago.

    I found blocks almost exactly like these only not put together and no green included. I found some vintage green like the green on your quilt and have started putting it together like yours. I Haven't worked on it for quite a number of years. I really should get it out again. I'm glad you are saving this quilt for future generations.

    WOW ..... You "Scored"!!! I love how "handquilting" looks on a finished quilts .... its a premium finish! Glad you posted a picture.
