Wow am I behind here....been feeling down and think I got quilters elbow or something....just ackey......still ackey but here.....I do try to sew a little everyday but sometimes I don't get to it but I don't sleep well so this is what I do so I don't wake DH......

Thanks everyone for the kind comments and taking the time to write and let me know how you like makes me feel good...:-)

The outside border is predone and that is what I went off for colors....It was fabric my Mom had and she didn't know what to do with it so .....this is what become of it and I have more so I'll have to make another quilt with that border.....:-)

The patteren is actually the same as the other one I showed on here about a month ago.....Which has the book and all the info you need if you want to make a quilt like this....they have several patterns in that book and it is well worth the money I think and there is even a cheaper place to buy the book than where I did....I paid full price.....but still am happy I bought the book.....:-)

    Hi cathie!

I don't know how I missed this thread! What a pretty spring like quilt it turned out to be in these colors. I like it very much!

You do such beautiful work, hon. And what I can't understand is how fast and accurate you are. That must be what happens when you have done so many beauties like you have.

I hope I can figure out my colors for mine when I get to it. I guess I will need a starting fabric like you do. There is only two ahead of this one. Does it go pretty fast? Maybe I will bump this one up. LOL!

    That is really attractive!
And, I like the way you took the print from white pieces and created a similar applique around the outside border.
Did you use fusible webbing to do that?

Beautiful quilt! I have ordered the book through my guild, so I will have to wait a bit to get it, but I am excited about what you have done. Hope I can do something near as well!
