    Default Red Experiment

Back in February was looking through my stash to decide what my next quilt would be. I came across a bunch of red and off-white 5 1/2 inch squares. Since I was before Valentines Day I kind of had that on my mind so I decided I would make a red quilt. The pattern started with MSCQ "twinkling star" pattern. That is what I used to make the star blocks. Jenny made her quilt with sashing but once I was done with the stars I wasn't feeling that. I have been currently keen on alternating blocks so I decided I would do that instead. I used all fabric from my stash with the exception of about 1/2 yard of assorted reds to use in the alternating blocks. Yeah! Now onto the next one...thanks for looking

That's one beautiful quilt! I agree that the sashing is perfect. Your red stash must be depleted.
