What a colorful quilt and the black just makes those colors pop. I know I would have to use corner stones just to keep things lined up.

I wouldn't do cornerstones if they were going to be the same color as the sashing. What I think would be really really cool would be making the cornerstones just like the blocks. That would take this wonderful quilt way over the top!

@MTS: Yes!
@ jansquiltn: Also YES!

Love the quilt. Anxious to see what you do!

I think skinnier black strips across would look good. it won't make matching the wider ones any easier though. great blocks!!!!

I tried half square triangles... too big...... tried smaller, ummm.... not sure. Tried small On Point cornerstones..... like a kid in a candy store... too many choices.
THANK YOU ALL for your suggestions and observations. My policy, ..... when in doubt, wait. I'll post when I decide. I may try to FMQ this one too........ that would be a first!!

I'd choose a solid or blender bright like the aqua for the cornerstones. What's your favorite color?

I think it would look great with cornerstones like the big blocks! if that's just too much, I would do them even in black, I think it would make it all go together easier, love your quilt btw!

cornerstones would look great if you are up to it. If not black alone will look great as well
