Fostering is great. I figured out 5 dogs was my limit. But my DD had 2 big dogs of her own and then my Andy. Of course when I did puppies the 5 # went out the window. Sometimes there were 5 puppies. lol And a little tiny house(not mine) limited me a lot
Nothing better than seeing them go to their new forever homes. :-)
Besides 13 little ones only equal 6 and 1/2 big ones. lol

They all look so cute and warm in their little coats. One can see they are loved and well cared for. Marvel

Don't they get their potty training undone going inside?

ok now I don't feel so bad. I only have 8 plus one I am holding for someone makes 9 pomeranians in the house. They loved going out in the snow for a little while but then got cold and wanted back in. I am a breeder and with puppies sometimes I have more in the house but that is only temperary. I too try to keep it under 10. I absolutely love my fur babies.

We used to do Pug rescue and are down to 8...have had 31 at a time, and we both had full time jobs with all the pugs in the house.

Rescue is tough work and I think fostering is harder as you fall in love with them and then have to let them go.

Is that him (her?) in the picture? These are Italian Greyhounds. If your picture is Puppette, he might be an iggy mix. Iggies come in every color EXCEPT black and tan and brindle. You might have a min-pin/iggy mix, or a toy rat terrier/iggy mix. Looks like iggy ears!

yes that is the one and only ringo. thank you for the info. i have suspected either greyhound or whippet due to his reallllllly long legs and tiny waist. he is certainly a mix. hates the cold also. luckily we don't have snow here.

any tips on stopping his cat chasing. i feed ferals and currently have three half grown that i am fostering. he pesters them to distraction.

Iggies do not have much of a prey drive, but whippets often do. Not sure what you can do about it, but keep saying "No!"
