Love this, but I'm sure it took a long time to get this far.

Since this thread has been so quiet I thought I'd share a couple of my scrappies. These pics are of my latest string quilt, which was donated to a group home for youngsters who have aged out of foster care.

Very nice! I'm working on some right now ... clearing out a bin full of strips from a fabric designer's tag sale!

I agree with you; it's great to see quality scrappy quilts and this one is very nice. I've been out of things for a while so am just catching up and I'm glad this link is still here.

They are very pretty. I love scrappy quilts. "Use it up, wear it out, make it do, or do without." Quilters of yesteryear didn't waste anything. Nice work.

Here's another that I just folded up and put away to hibernate through our long warm season. It is made completely of flannel, front and back, and also has batting so it is very warm and heavy. Came in handy when I lived in Ohio but it doesn't get as much use since we moved to California.

This is the best quilt show I have ever been to. Thanks for the leisurely look at all of your magnificent quilts! I hope to get past page 100 & see all the rest!

Windblown hair is in and so are scrappy quilts. I particularly like those arrows and the green/orange log cabin block.

I LOVE scrappy quilts and your first 3 pix in particular hit all the right notes with me! (Just started a new scrappy quilt tonight using a 60 degree triangle. Don't know yet how it's meant to be put together but it will come to me.) Congrats on your beautiful quilts!

Djmat - Windblown hair seems to be the normal thing anywhere in the west, I think. But helps the snow to melt in the spring. Love your quilts. Thanks for sharing pictures.

Here's another from my files. I spent a good part of 2011 making this one ... really disliked making the front (limited number of colors that I did NOT choose) so I got even on the back and made what I wanted to make! And yes, these are both the same quilt. Red stars on the front, black & white, etc. on the back.

ladynredd....I like the back better too. I usually love the snails trail pattern but wouldn't have chosen that color combination either. It was very generous of you to work so hard on it. It looks great despite the color choices somebody else made.
