    I like the batiks, but I am just really crazy about those fabrics currently.

    I prefer the scrappy look. I think scraps may be more interesting.

    I always think of Dresden Plate as resembling a set of antique dishes, so I would vote for the scrappy with the softer colors.

    I vote the scrappy. I just did my first dresden plate in 30's prints and think the batiks are too modern for the style........jmho

    Ditto for me. I like both but in entirely different ways and probably for different people.

    I like the first set. But I tend to like prints and lights mixed.

    :) I am doing both sets at the same time now. It's easier that way. The featherweight is just great. It's sewing like a dream!!! I am hoping to get all the plates done tonight. I want to see them done so bad...lol.
