Hope you're happy, I nearly shorted out my laptop drooling over those gorgeous batiks....<grin> those are totally awesome.. I have a beautiful pattern for an appliqued floral quilt.. So many project, so little time.

Zip Strip is the name of the pattern, from the Fun & Done Quilting technique. The reason I want to use it is because the strips are large but not straight. There are 6 strips per block. I want to see more of the pattern on the batik fabric. There are probably other patterns that would work and I may change my mind, it's been known to happen. There's nothing fancy about the pattern so I think the batiks will take center stage instead of the design. I hope you can see where I'm going with my ideal. I have such a tendency to go for batik that I don't give other fabrics a chance. I really need to deversify.

I have to pay between $15 and $21 Cdn a metre (that's a yard and a touch) up here. That's between about $12.20 and $17 US.
