Show us your bravery - show us the ugliest quilt you ever made.

Only kinda ugly quilt I worked on was one someone else started and I finished. It wasn't really ugly so much as just not a combination of fabrics I would have picked. The challenge was figuring out what the pattern was supposed to be as there were no instructions and some of it was obviously not right but not sure initially which was the correct placement and which wasn't. Pictures were on a phone that no longer works.

I actually love this one! I gasped when I saw it. It has an old fashioned feeling to it. You can send it to my house if you don't want to finish it! )

I was going to type the same thing. Also, after seeing this, there isn't the slightest chance I'd be showing my ugliest quilt, even if I had a picture of it! I'm grateful I don't and that it's long gone.

tops that may not quite be up to our own standards really shine when used on the reverse side of a quilt. Honest. Try it, I've been making double sided quilts for the last 20 years. Finished, I find I like BOTH sides best

Jan, That is my favorite quilt pattern. I have been trying to quilt for about 10 years and just now doing Grandmothers flower garden. Still have about 10 blocks before I can put it together. I just hope it turns out as nice as yours. Doing it all by hand so it takes awhile.
