If you have ever seen pictures of Virginia's Blue Ridge Mtns in October, your squares are perfection to our fall season and we are known for the beauty of our fall foilage.

Okay! Disclaimer here. I'm a native of Southern California so I'm not really an authority on fall leaves.
Now,that being said, when I first looked at your blocks I immediately thought of a dappled forest in the fall. The sun's shining through (center blocks) and the rest is in dark shade but there's lots and lots of color in that shade? It's beautiful and I love it! I say, "Carry on!" :D

I think it is the green in the middle that is taking away form the fall look. That green is more a summer green to me. Fall has some green, but is more like the green on the outside - it has some yellowish leaves. That's just MHO.

Maybe replace the outer green with a deep rust?
I have to agree, but I have to add the outergreen is one of my favorite fabrics that your using.

The middle absolutely glows btw.

Well I just love these! I really do. If you are going ot leave out one of the fabrics, I think the first green in from the Center. It is kind of the wrong shade of green for Fall, although I do just love that fabric! Putting them all together, I think they will be stunning.

I like the blocks, but I think if I wanted it to look a bit more like fall I'd add more orange/red/yellow and not as much green. Just my opinion!
