See below--Splash of Fall used up all my brights--but that's not the look I was going for for this one--I wanted more depth somehow.

This will work for 16 squares.

I love the colors that is the kind of pattern you have to get more blocks together to get the full effect I did one , and that is realy pretty

Ditto what Lauriejo said. That's just the way mid-fall looks around here in east TN, also. There is a whole range of color, including green and I especially like the contrast the outer band of green gives when it's next to the light center block. KEEP IT THE WAY IT IS!!!!!!!!!
