Gosh just look at that room. And to think you don't have to put anything away when you finish for the day, just pick up where you left off. I would love to have a full basement for my sewing. I now use the dinning room table for sewing and go to our Church for cutting using the long tables there. Lucky you. I like the knotty pine, however I like wood panneling.

I also love that fact that you have repurposed many of your larger pieces. I use a bedroom for my quilt studio....two of my kids' computer tables for sewing surfaces and an old farmhouse metal table on wooden blocks for a cutting surface....nothing fancy but I love it and as you say...you leave your stuff out and ready to sew at a moment's notice...it's heaven.

Looks like you have a great space to work in. I only have a portion of the "Family room" which holds the computers, treadmill, couch and several other items. But, I like being where other are, I don't like to be isolated.
