[QUOTE=Barb in Louisiana;8086328]I am a garish, bright, fun person, and I love the quilt. It would be perfect in my house.[/QUOTE

I love it! And, I agree with Barb! What a wonderful bright quilt. Any young-at-heart person would treasure it, so stop calling it nasty names!

I like it! Bright and cheerful, not garish, but certainly not everyone agrees on what is cheerful. It's gonna be well loved. I'm just so glad to read certain posts here where a quilter she doesn't care for the quilt she's making or just made but since it's made for someone who Will appreciate it, then it's redeemed. I currently am having a hard time finishing an I Spy quilt because it's so busy. I don't do busy, but most kids enjoy the hunt.

I also love it. Great colors. I think any child or teenager would love it! How did you applique it? Did you do the needle turn appliqué to each half and then piece the halves?

I love the quilt, but I like bright colors. As much as I like the quilt, I still had a good snicker over your name for it.

Call me garish but I love this!! Makes me smile as I'm sure the recipient will do when she receives it. Wonderful work. I've used W&N on Minky backing, too, with no problems. Thank you for the details.
