I think you can do it yourself, too. I don't think you need to get too fancy anyway, the design is so endearing the way it is. I like the idea of horseshoes even if these guys don't wear them.

Wood grain is easy and is looks great even if you make a mistake!!! Very forgiving.

check out Leah Day and her 365 days of quilting on google. she has lots of great background free motion quilting designs. i vote for do it yourself.

First, I have to say that is adorable!! I know how I would quilt it, but if you aren't sure you want to attempt it, definitely have the gift one quilted. I can't wait to see how she does it!!
