Is there a simple way to quilt this or should I pay the quilter?

I'm finding exhaustion sets in once I get home from school. After chores I don't seem to have energy left to sew a straight line. I'd not dare touch these until the weekend. I did wash all the new stuff last night.. and peeked at some patterns. I forgot the write the Friday letter--oh well. :|
