Default Twilight Garden in Wool - First Block Posted

I have started my next project, an appliqué wallhanging from the book twilight garden quilts by Deborah kemball.
I am very excited about it and have spent most of the last month dyeing the wool.
I am using matching treads for this project so gathering them has taken some time.
I have picked a blue background that is lighter than the author used but it goes well with my wool.
There are nine blocks and here is the first finished block.

Love your colors and the embroidery adds so much. Went to your web site and admired your other projects. All I can say is amazing. Love your black background one.
