Can't see ugly...just maybe some quilters who are way too hard on themselves. They all have a certain something that makes them appealing. I notice too, that many of them have been well-loved or are in demand by family members....how's that "ugly"?

I don't think any of the quilts pictured in this post are ugly. In other countries where the fabric selection is limited women are having to make do with what they can get. I remember someone on this board lives abroad and her fabric is actually being brought to her with family or being mailed to her. We are lucky to have such a selection of color and texture to use for our quilts. Ladies, finish your quilts and once it's done look at it from afar. I bet it will look different then.

Well, I must say that I really like that one. You should finish it.

Ladies, you know those of us who have had to do chemo, or
be on dialysis could make great use of these (ugly) quilts. The
warmth and comfort they give can be so nice at these times
of need. You can always donate to centers for dialysis or chemo.

I have looked at all the "ugly" quilts and I will say once again, there are no ugly quilts, just quilts that we might not care for. By all means, finish your quilt & donate it. Believe me, someone will love it. All the quilts on this thread are wonderful.

The one that I have is so bad that even my husband thinks it's ugly.
