Woo! The quilting lines are SOOOO straight! What a perfect blend of squares and circles and triangles! :D

Lovely -- that looks like a very large quilt - King size?? Did you quilt it on a regular sewing machine??

Thanks Judy, yes I did quilt it myself on my Janome 9000! I rolled it up to the centre diagonally and worked out towards one corner, then rolled up again and did the other side! I have quilted several kingsize quilts, but have done them in two separate halves then joined them up afterwards, finishing off the quilting in the last couple of inches. You can also choose to layer up you quilt using only half of your batting as this eradicates the bulk, quilt one side, stopping an 1" from the centre.Layer up the other half, joining the batting with a whip stitch and quilt the other side! Where there is a will there is a way!. I have no choice as there are no long arm quilters where I live and I enjoy making ALL of the quilt myself too :thumbup:
