that's a beautiful quilt...someone wrote on her the other day how they gave a quilt to someone and felt like it was not appreciated... later they visited them and there was the quilt being used...maybe that is going to be this case.

It's a beautiful quilt! Sorry the younger generation is so into themselves they forget the manners that were taught them. With all the time they spend texting you would think they would take two seconds to thank you. You did a wonderful job on the quilt and am sure it was filled with loving stitches!

Wow! It is so beautiful! Young people don't always use their heads. I am sure she loves it, though! Who wouldn't????

It was sure nice of you to make such a beautiful quilt for her. I know it is hard when we don't get a "thank you" but as my mom always told me "You do something nice for someone because you want to and not for what you will get out of it". I don't think mom was referring to a thank you but I do think life gets in the way sometimes and we just forget to do the little things that mean so much. I'm sure she appreciates it very much and when she sees you in person she will tell you and give you a huge hug. Smile

You know, I'm starting to think younger people simply don't know what a quilt is, or how its made. They just call it a "blanket" because thats the closest thing they recognize it as. sharet
